JUCO baseball got going Friday and one of our Canucks previously mentioned got their season started on the mound for the Vaqueros of Central Arizona.
Big lefty Matt Wilkinson (Lander BC) took the bump angainst the College of Southern Nevada and went 5.0 innings (73 pitches, 47 strikes) with 9 K’s, giving up 3 hits, 1 BB and one earned run.

Sophomore OF Tyrese Johnson (Calgary AB) went 2-4, 1 RBI
RHP Jack Seward (Port Moody BC) pitched 0.1 IP, 2 hits, 1 BB, 2 earned runs
