The 2024 American Association champions, the Kane County Cougars, recently (Apr. 8-13) competed in the 2025 Baseball Champions League, where they competed against teams from Mexico, Cuba, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, and Curacao. The Cougars placed third with Cuban outfit Leñadores de Las Tunas in the runner-up spot behind tournament champions Diablos Rojos del México.

The Tri-City Valley Cats will be hosting the 2025 Frontier League All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 16th. There will be an HR Derby immediately before what will the league’s 32nd All-Star Game. The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks will host the American Association All-Star Game on July 22.
