JOSH KASEVICH (SS/3B, Blue Jays)
dob: 01/17/2001
6 ft 1 in/200 lbs
Drafted: 2022 - Round 2, 60th selection overall from the University of Oregon
Kasevich brings a hit>power profile with exceptional contact rates and approach. Josh struck out at approximately the same rate as he walked (10.7% v 9.9%) while hitting to the opposite field MORE than to the pull side (40.3% oppo v 37.2% pull). Kasevich likely will move over to 3B long-term, which shouldn’t be a problem for his above-average arm and defensive skill set.

PEYTON WILSON (2B, Royals)
dob: 11/01/1999
5 ft 8 in/180 lbs
Drafted: 2021 - Round 2 (supplemental), 66th selection overall from the University of Alabama
Undersized at 5ft 8in, with a strong frame Peyton gets on base at above-average rates where he can use his excellent speed. His speed has also been used in CF along with his more regular 2B home. Wilson has improved his K% to a career-best level (18.7% from 25% in 2021) while walking at a solid 9.8% last season. Defensive versatility and 60-grade speed provide a floor but below-average hit & power tools limit upside.
Potential OFP: 40

RECE HINDS (RF, Reds)
dob: 09/05/2000
6 ft 4 in/215 lbs
Drafted: 2019 - Round 2, 49th selection overall from IMG Academy
An athletically gifted, physically mature Hinds finished 2023 as a Reds Organizational All-Star. There’s plenty of swing-and-miss in his game along with extreme K% (32.8%). When Rece does make contact it tends to go far hitting 23 HR while posting some excellent ISO (.267), SLG (.536), and HR/FB (22.3%) numbers. Hinds has moved to RF defensively where his excellent arm plays nicely. Their ceiling will be determined by how their hit tool develops.
Potential OFP: 45
